Put Me In, Coach!

It’s baseball season! Our favorite MLB teams are vying for a chance at the World Series. T-ball tykes, high school and college sluggers, church and business league players have been giving it their best through the hot summer days. A true ball player doesn’t shy away from a challenge. When the stakes are high and the challenge is big, a winning player is anxious to get in the game and on the field. That winner’s plea is, “Put me in the game, Coach!”

We are in a championship drive for high stakes at Cornerstone. We want every player in the game and on the field! We need a BIG win, and it’s up to all of us. Get on the team and in the game!

  • This is YOUR Church | August 6

The coach can’t win a game, let alone a championship, by himself. Every player needs to realize, “This is MY team, my church.” Taking ownership is essential.

  • Connect | August 13

The first thing a winning teammate does is connect with other players, and work to get more players on the team.

  • Serve | August 20

Winning players look for the best way to serve the entire time. They are willing to play whatever position is necessary in order to secure a win for everyone.

  • Give | August 27

If you have ever been on a championship team, you know that it only happens with the whole team holding nothing back. They give it all they have. They give their best, and leave it all on the field.

  • Invest and Invite | September 3

Players who are proud of their team and love the game want people to be part of the excitement. They are all about investing in others, sharing their enthusiasm, and inviting them to be part of a thrilling win!
